theme idea: Innocence.

Theme ideas:

I've been running out of theme ideas for a little while. We're recycling the Pirate theme this week. Yeah, things are getting bad.
So I'm just going to make a list of ideas here. If anyone has other ideas leave it in a comment and I'll add it to the list. Let's do some idea bouncing...

Mime's. - I'm planning on doing this one later and trying to round up a huge group of people interested. Classic French Mime's...

The Office - dress up as characters from The Office. Maybe set up classic scenes. What's your fave The Office scene?

Theme: Girl Band: The Clones

This is a theme I'd wanted to do for a while. I love how the 'band' evolved. These three have some serious 'tude.

The side of the house seems to be one of my fave places to take pictures these days.

The secret life of a housewife...

Her day begins long before sending the children off to school.

With the children now gone it's time to make their home spic and span.

With the house work done she has a minute to plan the rest of her day whilst keeping up appearances for the neighbours.

She realises the drabber she stays the more amazing her transformation really is.

Today will be no different than the others.

She retrieves her makeup stash which she keeps so well hidden...

and goes to work on her transformation.

She knows exactly what she's doing. She's done it a million times before.

Blue eyes and red lips.

Perfect.

No one has any idea she does this every single day!

If she stopped there she's feel incomplete. The hair is an essential part of her costume.

Bon Jovi would be jealous of her locks... back in the 80's.

Drab housewife no more!

Housewifery has never been so AWESOME!

There will be time to wipe down the counter once she's done. There always is.

Sometimes she just can't control herself!

She often gets too carried away when she jumps from the counter amidst guitar solo. It wouldn't be the first time she thought she broke her ankle doing this.

She recovers quickly. That's what being a rockstar is all about - and also having your hair be blown by a fan in your kitchen like you're in an 80's music video.

She needs to calm down before the children get home. She unwinds with a quick game of Guitar Hero then changes back and puts some cookies in the oven.

And tomorrow it'll all begin again.

Making it official.

The Secret Lives of Housewives.

Hey, Megan. I've found someone who is willing to jump of stuff for me to take her picture!

I want to do a themed shoot along these lines: The Secret Lives of Housewives. It could be a series. Different secrets. If you have any ideas or thoughts let me know. I'm running with this one.

Here's how I see the first one:

To begin the housewife is wholesome and nurturing. She waves her husband off to work and takes care of a few chores. Then her girlfriends come over for 'brunch', all dressed similarly. These pictures would probably have a vintage wash.

Kids are put upstairs to play whilst mommy spends some time with the ladies. The bedroom door is shut.

Then out comes the Guitar Hero. They're a closet girlband when their husbands are at work.

They all get changed - think Sandra Dee to Sandy (Grease) transformations. Each woman with a different Rockstar identity - 80's rocker, glam rock etc... Lomo wash for these pics I think.

Jumping off furniture etc... 

Then all cleaned up and dinner is on table for the mister getting home.

Seeing the world through new eyes.
